Duane recently played George in Kinky Boots at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane and The Mayor in the - Olivier nominated - world premiere of The Book Thief at The Bolton Octagon Theatre. Most recently, he played Mr Beauregard in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for Aberystwyth Arts Centre.

Further credits include Walk in the Light (National Theatre), A Birthday for Bear (Upstairs at the Gatehouse), Noah in Go Noah Go (Little Angel Theatre), Baloo in The Jungle Book (Fairfield Halls Croydon), The Man in The Saloon in Blues In The Night (The Last Refuge, Peckham), Nat King Cole in Christmas Crooners (UK & Ireland Tour), André in Ain’t Misbehavin’ (UK Tour), Madame Raptor in Animal Rocks (Oxford Playhouse), Les in Camp Phoenix, Paddington Bear in Paddington Locomotion, Narrator in So Jest End, Boogie Nights, Bull: The Puppet Musical and Dusty! The Springfield Story.  

In Disneyland Paris he played The Genie in Mickey & The Magician. Duane has been in several pantomime productions of Aladdin playing The Genie of the Lamp. This includes the Wolverhampton Grand and Theatre Royal Windsor. He was also nominated for Best Newcomer at the GB Panto Awards 2019 for his performance as Widow Twankey at Catford Broadway.
